Now open to all lecturers, join us for the encore presentation of one of the sessions offered at the Program Directors Event: “Gen AI: from hyped supertool to (legally) responsible use” workshop. No legal expertise is required for this lightweight legal introduction to AI in education.
Many of us are thinking about how Gen AI is affecting the way we assess student performance, and some are experimenting with implementing Gen AI in our courses. The use of AI not only raises all kinds of practical issues, but also brings up (novel) legal issues that we will have to be aware of. In this interactive session, simple examples and cases will help us explore some of the legal concerns in the use of Gen AI such as intellectual property, privacy and data protection, cybersecurity, fraud, deepfakes, and hallucinations.
