Find helpful tutorials or share inspiring use cases on AI technology for higher education.

Shared content may not reflect the policies of Tilburg University on the use of AI.

Thank you for your willingness to contribute to the website! Below, we have outlined how we structure an article and what we expect from an article for the website. We look forward to your contributions!

Article Guidelines

Our aim with Tilburg.ai is to introduce and inform students and teachers about AI tools, such as ChatGPT. When writing an article, always strive to establish a connection with education and discuss how it can potentially be integrated into studying or teaching. Therefore, in the title of the article, we always directly reference how it can be applied in education, for instance, “Beyond ChatGPT: Alternative Tools for Your Literature Review.”

Our content can be categorized in three distinct ways:

  1. How to’s
The ‘how to’ category includes articles or guides that provide step-by-step instructions or explanations on how to perform specific tasks or achieve particular goals. These posts aim to offer practical guidance to students or teachers that want to use a particular AI-tool or use ChatGPT in a certain way.
  2. Pro’s and con’s
The pro’s and con’s category can be assigned to an article when the article mentions some advantage or disadvantage of the use of ChatGPT or AI. This can be a whole article dedicated to the pro’s and con’s of AI or ChatGPT, but it may also be that the advantage or disadvantage is inherent to the article. For example, the article ‘Beyond ChatGPT: Alternative Tools for Your Literature Review‘ discussed the disadvantages of relying on the references that ChatGPT provides you, so this can be categorized as a pro’s and con’s article.
  3. Use cases
In this category, students and teachers can explore real-world examples and scenarios where AI and ChatGPT have been successfully employed. These articles show practical applications of AI and ChatGPT in education. These use cases offer inspiration for teachers and students.

Writing style

As a website dedicated to AI, we certainly encourage you to expedite your writing process by leveraging ChatGPT’s skills. However, we are cautious not to come across as a completely AI-generated website. Hence, we employ the writing guidelines from Tilburg Science Hub to enhance the fluency and grammar of our content.

Tip: Implement the writing instructions of TSH as a prompt into ChatGPT and tell it to use this guidelines for the output.

Images

To make the website more unique and beautiful, we add an image to each article. These are generated by Dall-E, see our own article on how to use Dall-E. If, as a contributor, you do not have access to GPT-4, please let us know, and we will ensure that an image is added.

  • Prompt Dall-E: “create image about <insert article subject>, and create images in a 16:9 ratio”
  • We encourage the use of a photo related to education.
